Award winning and controversial simger, Azeez Fashola, better known as “Naira Marley“, has stirred up the hornet’s nest on social media platforms over his thoughts on the raging coronavirus.

The talented singer took to his Twitter page on Monday to ask his followers to retweet his post if they also believed Corona virus was a folktale.

His tweet, which has garnered nearly 8,500 likes as of the time this report was made didn’t sit well with a number of tweeps who had to pen down their annoyance on the social media platform.

The tweet also comes at a time when Nigeria recorded its first death from the killer virus.

But, truthfully, naira marley as a public figure, has he been of any positive influence? Were we expecting anything less? Listen to the kind of music he makes, you really can’t give what you don’t have its simple Man has never been a bright fellow,” a Twitter user said.
